The Band

October 9th, 2009. Spain. The whole thing began. Charlie joined the band and they started to grow up. From that first rehearsal, the band has never stopped working. At first small venues, doing covers.

Later bigger stages, festivals and playing for huge audiences all across the country, honoring Queen. Never impersonating, always being themselves.

This way of doing things gave them a name and the respects of managers, producers, critics and the public. In the meantime, the guys from Chess were working on their own project. It was cooked slowly and uninterruptedly. Their first album is a result of almost a decade of conscientious work. An elaborate and reworked piece that feeds on numerous and very different influences, but with its own personality. That got them to find their own sound and style. From musicals to punkrock, going through the whole rock spectre, the music of Chess goes beyond etiquettes.

It´s theatrical. It´s cabaret. It´s rock and roll. Maybe, it´s what you want.
